Game Description

Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is a retro-style action platformer that pays homage to the classic Castlevania games of the 8-bit era. Developed by Inti Creates and published by Koji Igarashi, the game follows the story of Zangetsu, a demon hunter on a quest to defeat the evil sorcerer Gebel and his army of demons.

The game features a pixel art style reminiscent of the NES era, with detailed character sprites and vibrant, atmospheric backgrounds that bring the world of Bloodstained to life. The music is also a standout feature, with catchy chiptune tracks that perfectly capture the gothic horror atmosphere of the game.

Players take control of Zangetsu as he battles his way through a series of challenging levels filled with traps, enemies, and boss fights. Along the way, Zangetsu can recruit three other characters to join him on his journey: Miriam, a young woman with the power to absorb enemy abilities; Alfred, a powerful sorcerer with devastating magic attacks; and Gebel, a former ally turned antagonist with his own dark powers.

Each character has unique abilities and playstyles, allowing players to mix and match their party to suit their preferred combat style. Miriam can double jump and slide under obstacles, Alfred can attack from a distance with his magic spells, and Gebel can transform into a bat to fly over obstacles and reach hidden areas.

The game also features multiple branching paths and endings, adding replay value as players can explore different routes and make choices that affect the outcome of the story. With its challenging gameplay, tight controls, and nostalgic charm, Bloodstained: Curse of the Moon is a must-play for fans of classic action platformers and retro gaming. Whether you're a veteran of the genre or a newcomer looking for a fun and challenging experience, this game is sure to satisfy your craving for old-school action and adventure.
